Chakras are whirling vortexes of energy located throughout the body. There are literally hundreds throughout the body. Each connects to an energy meridian network. The Major Chakras are listed below. Any imbalance or blockage in a chakra can have physical and emotional effects. The Seven commonly recognised Major chakras are: Root or Base; Sacral or Naval; Solar Plexus; Hear; Throat; Third Eye; Crown. Other important energy centres at the soles of the feet & palms of the hands & the bridge of the nose. 1. Root Chakra
Root chakra is related to the drive for survival. It is our connection to Mother Earth. Associated with food, security, grounding and procreation.

2. Sacral Chakra
